Salary: $68,832 – $84,117.

Essential Functions:

  • This is a patrol officer position involving the responsibility for the protection of life and property; the prevention, detection and investigation of crime; and maintaining law and order.
  • The work necessitates the use of independent and mature judgment in making investigations and inspections and in deciding what course of action to take in emergency situations.

Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be 21 or older.
  • Must be a citizen of the United States.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid State of CT drivers license.
  • Must be physically able to perform the duties of a Police Officer.
  • Must be able to pass an extensive background investigation, polygraph, medical and psychological examinations along with controlled substance screening.
  • Must be in and remain in good physical condition.
