The City of Ironwood Department of Public Safety is seeking MCOLES-certified applicants for a full-time Public Safety/Police Officer position. Out of State applicants encouraged to apply if the applicant is or was a state-licensed/certified law enforcement officer in good standing in a state other than Michigan for a minimum of 2080 hours, fully empowered and paid for all hours worked. The department provides 24-hour police, fire, and medical response to our community. The position offers competitive wages and benefits. 12-hour shifts with every other weekend off.
