PT Deputy Sheriff Positions

Salary: $21.96/hour.

Position Summary:

The Beaver County Sheriff’s Office has begun the process to identify and employ the best qualified candidates for part-time deputy sheriff positions. Openings are for hourly positions within the Deputy Sheriff’s Bargaining Unit.

Requirements:

• Applicants should expect to pass a rigorous selection process to include a written examination, oral interview, physical fitness testing, drug testing, medical examination, psychological examination and background investigation.
• Applicants must have completed Act 120 (Municipal Police Officers Training Academy) or have Deputy Sheriff Act certification.
• Part-time deputies are scheduled approximately 28 hours per week.
