Police Officers

Salary: $31.82/hr.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent / AA or BA in Criminal Justice or related field preferred
• At least 20 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• Not addicted to drugs or alcohol
• Good moral character
• Must successfully pass physical agility testing adopted by I.L.E.A.
• Pass P.O.S.T. (Police officers selection Test) written test
• Pass background check
• Pass Oral interview exam
• Meet all other minimum standards required by I.L.E.A. rules
• Must have uncorrected vision of not less than 20-100 in both eyes and corrected to 20-20
• Must pass color vision testing
• Must have normal hearing
• Meet all other medical minimum standards required by I.L.E.A. rules
