Police Officer Recruit – Starting pay $31.68 /hourly
Minimum requirements:
- United States Citizen
- 21 years of age
- No felony conviction
- High school diploma or GED
Disqualifiers:
- Convicted of a felony or any offense that would be a felony if committed in Arizona
- Dishonorably discharged from the U.S. Armed Forces
- Having illegally sold, produced, cultivated, or transported marijuana for sale
- Having used marijuana for any purpose within the past two years
- Having ever illegally used marijuana while employed or appointed as a peace officer
- Having illegally sold, produced, cultivated or transported for sale any dangerous drug or narcotic
- Having illegally used a dangerous drug or narcotic, other than marijuana, for any purpose within
the past seven years - Having ever illegally used a dangerous drug or narcotic other than experimentation
- Any sexual conduct prohibited by law
- Negligence in maintaining financial responsibility
