Police Officer

Salary: $33.06 – 47.13 / hr

Position Summary:

The Town of Wells is now accepting applications for the position of full-time Police Officer. We are a pro-active department with a mission to provide quality policing services to our community. Preference may be given to candidates who have prior law enforcement experience. College degree, technical ability with IT and/or prior military experience is also highly valued. The successful candidate is subject to physical agility testing, an extensive background check and a rigorous training program. The background check will include a polygraph and psychological exam.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED equivalent,
• Have a valid driver’s license, good driving record,
• Good mental and physical condition appropriate to the job requirements, and physical fitness test.
• Our agency will schedule the test upon application.
