Salary: $58,156 to $82,430.

Position Summary:

The City of North Liberty is accepting applications for future full-time Police Officers. Certified law enforcement officers are preferred but will accept and train uncertified candidates. Ideal candidates are community focused, have good judgement, excellent problem-solving skills, and want to serve others in a supportive environment.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must meet minimum standards found at FAQs | ILEA (iowa.gov).
  • Have a good driving record.
  • Pass a background investigation, and reside within 30 miles of the corporate city limits within one (1) year of hire.
  • Post-offer psychological exam, physical, background screen and drug screen are required.
  • Applicants will be contacted for interviews and testing.
