Police Officer

Salary: $20.25 Hourly

Position Summary:

Provide campus-wide protection for all college patrons and property.

Essential Functions:

1. Provide written reports of incidents that occur on campus.
2. Provides for facility security.
3. Maintain order on campus pursuant to college policies and state law.
4. Patrol campus facilities.
5. Provide departmental services and maintain appropriate records.
6. Enforce college parking and traffic rules and regulations.
7. Maintain proficiency with departmental equipment.
8. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required. Associate’s degree preferred.
• Familiar with community college environment. Acquisition of Illinois Police Certification.
• Able to relate to students, faculty and staff. Work within a team environment.
