The Corpus Christi Police Department is looking for a select few community minded men and women willing to accept the challenge of becoming one of Corpus Christi’s finest. Becoming a Corpus Christi Police Officer means joining a team of dedicated men and women serving a community that respects and supports their service. Our hiring process is designed to recruit a diverse and highly talented, highly qualified pool of applicants that reflect the gender, ethnic and racial composition of the community for which they will serve. We only hire the best because our citizens deserve the best.
If you are ready to accept the challenge, our recruiters and background investigators are here to help you navigate the process. One thing that separates us from other Police Departments our size is the personal relationship that exists between our officers and civilians. Here you are a name, not a number. Some officers describe it as being part of a “big family”. That personal touch begins with the hiring process.
