Position Summary:

Enforces State and local laws and ordinances, assist in the investigation and prevention of crimes, and serve the community to insure safety.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • No law enforcement experience required.
  • Lateral entry based upon experience.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Minimum Class B MO Peace Officer’s License.
  • Academy Graduation from a Missouri P.O.S.T. Approved Academy Provider.
  • Interpersonal Skills.
  • Computer Skills related to MS software (Word, Excel, & Outlook).
  • Knowledge of law enforcement.
  • U.S. citizen.
  • 21 years of age.
