Police Officer. West Chester Police provides full police services with 90 sworn officers to our 35 square mile community. Services include road patrol, traffic and criminal law enforcement, emergency response, investigations, crime prevention activities and special events. The department serves a public of 60,000+ citizens.
The selection process includes the following: Written Exam through National Testing Network, Physical Agility, Oral Review Board, Polygraph, Background, Psychological Evaluation and Drug/Medical Screening.
Applicants must be 21 years of age at date of hire and have a valid Ohio driver’s license. Tattoos are prohibited from being visible during work hours and will be required to be covered at the employer’s discretion. Body piercing or alterations to any area of the body visible during work hours are prohibited. West Chester Township Police Department has implemented a “No Smoking or Tobacco Use” policy.
Starting yearly salary is $61,942.07 with an excellent benefit package
Previous experience may be considered for lateral hiring.
