Salary: $46.860 ($22.53/hour).

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be 20 years of age.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • N.C. driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • The ability to meet North Carolina Criminal Justice Commission standards.
  • Candidate must be proficient with computers.
  • Candidate must live within a 30 mile radius from the corporate limits of the town.
  • The Town provides assigned/take home vehicles for police officers.
  • The Police Department also provides updated equipment for modern police practices.
