Position Summary:

The Presque Isle Police Department has immediate openings for the position of full-time Patrol Officer. The Presque Isle Police Department is seeking qualified, motivated, and community-oriented individuals for the position of Police Officer.

Requirements:

  • Individuals with honorable military experience, an Associate’s Degree or greater, or certified Maine Criminal Justice Academy graduates with current police certification are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates will be required to successfully pass a background check, a medical, psychological, and polygraph examination.
  • Candidates must also successfully pass the Maine Criminal Justice Academy Alert test as a condition of employment.
