Examples of Important Duties
Proactively patrols the town of University Park in a patrol car, bicycle or on foot; observes and reports incidents of vandalism, violations of state law and town ordinances; notes and reports unsafe and unsightly conditions within the town; directs traffic and parking; responds to calls for service and renders assistance as needed; secures a crime or accident scene and takes initial statements from victims and witnesses; issues traffic citations, warnings and make arrests; writes reports on incidents and vehicle accidents within the jurisdiction of University Park. Willingly engages with residents and visitors throughout the town of University Park.

Minimum Qualifications
- U.S. citizen
- Twelve (12) months of experience as a Police Officer.
- Possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
- MPCTC Card in good standing.
- Eligible for rehire from your most recent previous employer.
- High School Diploma.
