Salary: $21.13 hourly – $43,947 per year

Requirements:

  • Police Cadet applicants must be at least 20 years old AND be 21 before academy graduation.
  • Police Cadets will be assigned to the Tarrant County College Northwest Law Enforcement Academy for a period of approximately 25 weeks.
  • Police Cadets must meet all requirements for licensing and successfully complete the basic peace officer program.
  • Upon successful graduation from the police academy the Police Cadet will become a licensed and sworn police officer.
  • Completion of a City Application is required for all applicants.
  • Once you have completed the application, it will be reviewed and you will receive an email with further instructions.
