Patrol Officer – full time

Salary: $61,547 ($29.59 an hour).

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent certification. Associate’s degree or higher preferred
  • Must possess, and maintain, a valid motor Vehicle Operator’s License
  • Must be at least 20 years of age to apply and 21 years of age by hire date
  • Must successfully complete (or have completed) the Vermont Police Academy Basic Class, or instruction as required by the VCJTC for out-of-state certified officers.
  • Candidates who are currently Vermont certified as full- time police officers
  • Candidates who have previous full-time law enforcement experience
  • Candidates who have Military Experience
  • Candidates who have worked hard to broaden their educational background
