Position Summary:

Perry City is seeking an individual to fill the job opening of Patrol Officer. The selected candidate will perform a variety of working level technical duties related to enforcing the laws, maintaining the peace, and protecting citizens. Duties will include investigations, community policing, patrol, report writing, and testifying in court.

Requirements:

  • Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, and Police Officers Standards Training (P.O.S.T.) LEO
    Certification is required.
  • Preference is given to those candidates with prior law enforcement experience and/or advanced education.
