Patrol Deputy
Salary: $27.29 – $30.86 hourly.
Position Summary:
Under general supervision of the Sergeant, Captain, Chief Deputy and/or Sheriff, the Patrol Deputy performs general duty police work maintaining public safety through enforcement of county, state and federal laws, more detailed description available.
Requirements:
- U.S. citizen;
- Minimum age – 18;
- Driver license;
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification;
- High school diploma;
- Associate degree – Law Enforcement plus experience;
- Bachelor degree – Criminal Justice preferred;
- Ability to possess a firearm;
- No felony convictions;
- No domestic abuse convictions;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Previous experience;
- React quickly and effectively to stressful situations;
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays;
- Clear and concise speech;
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously;
- Ability to perform essential functions of this position;
- Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment.
