Requirements:

  • Certification as a full-time law enforcement officer by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (ILETSB);
  • Minimum of two (2) years of continuous full-time service as a sworn police officer in the State of Illinois;
  • In good standing with the current or most recent police agency, with no history of adverse employment actions;
  • Eligible for a waiver of basic law enforcement training from ILETSB.
