Lateral Patrol Deputy
Salary: $82,513.60 – $105,372.80 Annually
Position Summary:
Patrol Deputies respond to calls for service; patrol county roads, residential, and business areas; investigate traffic accidents; and enforce traffic and criminal laws.
Requirements:
- Currently possess a Basic Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training “DPSST” certification OR other equivalent local, state or federal certification as a Police Officer or Sheriff’s Patrol Deputy;
- Have completed a Field Training Program;
- Have at least one year of full-time equivalent (2080 hours) work experience as a Police Officer or Sheriff’s Patrol Deputy. Completion of required work experience must not have occurred greater than 12 months prior to the date of application submission.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record per Washington County’s policy.
