Requirements:

  • 21 years of age and no more than 35 years of age upon appointment
  • U.S. High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate
  • United States or naturalized citizen
  • A minimum of 2 consecutive years of sworn, full-time law enforcement service in the State of Ohio
  • Current Ohio Peace Officer Training Certification
  • Excellent health & physical condition
  • Vision correctable to 20/20
  • Background suitable for employment as a police officer
  • A valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable driving record at time of employment
