Position Summary:

The Norwalk Department of Police Services announces an open recruitment process for the position of Entry Level Police Officer. Applicants will be required to successfully complete a written examination, physical ability test, oral board examination, thorough background investigation, polygraph and psychological examinations, physical examination and drug screening.

Requirements:

• You must take and pass the Connecticut Police Chiefs Association
• You must take and pass the Police Physical Ability Assessment Program (CHIP)

• You must be 21 by date of appointment
