Entry level and certified Police Officer

The North Richland Hills Police Department is hiring entry level and certified police officers.

Salary range is $79,442 after completion of the police academy to $96,654. Lateral officer pay is based on years of experience.

The purpose of this position is to serve the citizens and deter crime within the city by enforcing local, state and federal laws to maintain public safety and the welfare of our community. This is accomplished by promoting a secure environment through daily police operations, including enforcing traffic laws, reporting on motor vehicle accidents, investigating crimes, interacting with our community to build relations, continual training to maintain proficiency and knowledge, interacting with other City employees and outside agencies. Officers may also provide specialized law enforcement services while part of specialized units to deter and prevent crime.
