Detention Officer

Salary: $12.00 an hour.

Position Summary:

The Detention Officer works under the general supervision of the Division Commander.

Essential Functions:

1.Preparing inmates for court and for release.

2. Conveying or assisting in the movement of inmates.

3. Preparing reports.

4. Submit required reports and investigations in a accurate, correct and timely manner.

5. Furnish expertise and assistance to other divisions, and departments with police related matters.
