Salary:

  • Correctional Deputy Trainee: $27.55 Hourly
  • Deputy Sheriff Trainee: $37.47 – $49.18 Hourly

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a U.S. high school, possession of a Certificate of Proficiency issued by the California State Board of Education, or attainment of a satisfactory score on a G.E.D. examination.
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License at the time of application.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States under federal law.
  • Must be at least 18 years old by application date OR; Must be at least 20 years and 9 months old at the start of the academy.
