Salary: $37,960.00 Annually.

Closing Date: 12/31/2024.

Essential Functions:

  • Required to attend and successfully complete an applicable law enforcement training academy to gain POST approve peace office licensure.
  • Required to successfully complete all phases of the selection process.
  • Required to sign an employment contract, if hired.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Be a citizen of the United States.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid Missouri operator’s license at time of appointment.
  • Must pass a background check – no felony convictions.
  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications of the FBI and MSHP CJIS Security policies.
  • Must be able to meet qualifications to attend a POST certified law enforcement training academy.
  • Must be able to successfully complete the Peace Office Standard Training (POST) academy, and obtain a Class A or B Missouri Peace Officer License.
