Deputy Sheriff: Patrol
Salary: $17.91-$24.00 per hour.
Essential Functions:
- Enforces all state, county and federal laws and regulations.
- Investigates criminal activities.
- Assists citizens.
- Investigates accidents.
- Makes arrests.
- Does criminal and process serving.
- Completed routine public relations activities.
- Responsible for providing truthful and accurate written and verbal communications.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 60 college credits/associate degree.
- Have 60 college credits/associate degree within 5 year of employment.
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position.
- Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment.
- Ability to possess a firearm.
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Clear and concise speech.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Good driving record.
- Good physical Condition.
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- No domestic abuse convictions.
- No felony conviction.
- React quickly and effectively to stressful situations.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Minimum Age: 18.
