Salary:

  • Correctional Deputy I / II: $27.68 – $42.28 Hourly
  • Deputy Sheriff: $33.74 – $51.59 Hourly

Requirements:

  • Graduation from high school, possession of a Certificate of Proficiency issued by the California State Board of Education, or attainment of a satisfactory score on a G.E.D. examination.
  • Possession of a valid California Driver’s License.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States under federal law.
  • California Standards and Training for Corrections (STC) – Adult Corrections Officer Core Course Certification.
