Salary: $3,293.27 monthly/39,519.24 annually.

Essential Functions:

  • The Sheriff’s Office is responsible for providing law enforcement services to the citizens of Caddo County.
  • The Patrol Division is the largest and most visible division of the Sheriff’s Office.
  • Providing 24/7 coverage, the Patrol Deputy is responsible for responding to calls for service, traffic
    enforcement, assisting other agencies within the county, and other duties as assigned.
  • The patrol division is responsible for patrolling 1,290 square miles separated into north and south districts.
  • The population of Caddo County is 26,198 and this consists of municipalities as well as small communities.
  • The patrol division spends much of its efforts patrolling the unincorporated areas of Caddo County. They emphasize patrolling outside of municipal areas that have police departments, however, sometimes they are requested by county residents for services for which we will respond.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be a citizen of the United States.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must have a Valid Drivers License.
  • Must have a Good Driving Record.
  • Must be able to PASS a Background Check.
  • Must have NO Felony Convictions.
  • Must have NO Domestic Violence Convictions.
  • Must have NO active Protective Orders.
  • Must have NO convictions for Crimes of Moral Turpitude.
  • Successfully pass a drug screening examination;
  • Meet the standards of the Caddo County Sheriff’s Office weapon proficiency
  • Must be able to work weekdays, nights, weekends, and Holidays as needed.
  • Must be Honest and have High Moral Character and Ethics.
