Salary: $19.00 per hour.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with valid driver’s license.
  • H.S. Diploma or GED.
  • Other pre-employment requirements include a written general knowledge test, physical agility test, background investigation, physical, psychological exam, and drug screen.
  • If not already KLETC certified, must successfully complete the next available law enforcement basic academy 14-week course.
