Requirements:

  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens,
  • At least 21 years of age,
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED as well as a valid Nebraska driver’s license,
  • Be of good moral character with no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions and be in good physical condition. Nebraska law Enforcement Certified is not required but uncertified applicants must meet admission requirements for the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center.
