Salary: $26.52 – $32.00 per hour.

Position Summary:

The Corrections Officer supervises inmates within an assigned area, maintaining order and security through fair and impartial application of Knox County Corrections Policies and Procedures and accepted correctional security and supervision practices.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be high school graduates or equivalent.
  • Have no criminal record and be in good health,
  • Have a valid Maine Drivers License.
  • Applicants must have successfully completed or be willing to complete the Basic Corrections Officer Training Program.
