Correctional Deputy Trainee/Deputy Sheriff Trainee

Salary:

• Correctional Deputy Trainee: $28.93 Hourly
• Deputy Sheriff Trainee: $39.35 – $51.64 Hourly

Requirements:

• Education: Graduation from a U.S. high school, possession of a Certificate of Proficiency issued by the California State Board of Education, or attainment of a satisfactory score on a G.E.D. examination.
• License: Possession of a valid Driver’s License at the time of application.
• Legality for Employment: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States under federal law.

• CORRECTIONAL DEPUTY TRAINEE
  Age: Must be at least 18 years old by application date.
• DEPUTY SHERIFF TRAINEE
  Age: Must be at least 20 years and 9 months old at the start of the academy.
