Certified Police Officer

Requirements:

• Must be 18-35 years of age (exceptions may apply).
• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Resident of New Jersey at time of appointment.
• Possess a valid NJ Driver’s license at time of appointment.
• Have the ability to read, write and speak the English language clearly and intelligently.
• Be of good moral character and have not been convicted of any crime constituting an indictable offense involving moral turpitude.
• Pass a written test, physical fitness test, and interview.
• Pass a comprehensive background investigation.
• Pass a medical examination, psychological examination and drug screen.
• Possess 60 college credits or 30 credits with a minimum of 2 years Law Enforcement/Military experience.
