Certified Police Officer
Salary: $71,885 – $109,242
Position Summary:
Performs a wide variety of law enforcement activities including the protection of life and property, the apprehension of offenders and providing community-based problem solving services.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree or equivalent (60 credit hours) from an accredited college/university OR an Honorably Discharged Veteran or current member of a Reserve component of the U.S. Military or Florida National Guard, OR one year Certified law enforcement experience as a police officer.
- Minimum age of 19 (Birth Certificate).
- Copy of FDLE Certification.
- Passing Physical agility test at Broward College IPS (BMST), valid for 6 months.
- Passing swim test, valid for life.
- Original Driver’s License.
- High school Diploma.
- U.S. Citizenship.
