Certified Police Officer
Salary: $24.00 – $27.00 PER HOUR.

A certified police officer is a law enforcement professional who has completed the required training and obtained certification to work as a police officer. Essential Functions:

- Attend regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Mentor and train new recruits.
- Use force when necessary and in accordance with department policies.
- Understand and apply principles of self-defense.
- Testify in court as a witness.
- Prepare and present evidence during legal proceedings.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent:
- Age Requirement: must be at least 18 years old
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship.
- A thorough, stringent background investigation is conducted to assess the candidate’s criminal history, and overall suitability for law enforcement.
- Candidates must pass a physical fitness test, which may include tasks such as running, push-ups, sit-ups, and agility exercises.
- A medical examination will be required to ensure that candidates are in good physical health and can perform the essential functions of the job.
- Other requirements that may be expected, such as residency within a certain area, language proficiency, or specialized skills.
