Requirements:

  • Must be CT POST Certified Police Officer.
  • Graduation from high school or G.E.D., college degree preferred, and a good prior work record. Must have a valid State of Connecticut driver’s license.
  • Must pass the CPCA Certified test with a 70 or higher.
  • Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation, polygraph, medical and psychological examination and written tests. Other special requirements may apply.
