911 Specialist
Salary: $59,342.40 – $94,286.40 annually
Position Summary:
The essential function of the position within the organization is to perform technical and analytical work in maintenance and application of 9-1-1 data including addressing assignment for various County departments, agencies, and all applicable municipalities. Responsible for creating GIS solutions for resolving business/operational problems, collecting and maintaining 9-1-1 related GIS data, troubleshooting technical problems, providing professional customer service at all times, and performing related work as assigned.
This position shall be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Requires Associate’s Degree in GIS technology, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Business or a closely related field.
- Requires two (2) years of related experience.
- Must be proficient in ESRI’s ArcGIS software.
- Specific system certifications are desirable.
- Requires valid Florida driver’s license.
