Telecommunicator

Position Summary:

Full Time Positions available. Under general supervision, receives and processes 911 emergency calls, prioritizes calls, and dispatches police, fire, medical, or other emergency units as necessary and in accordance with established procedures. Enters and updates data and retrieves information from a variety of computer systems.

Requirements:

• The position requires a high school diploma.
• Must possess or obtain and maintain NCIC and 9-1-1 certifications.
• MUST POSSESS A VALID STATE DRIVER’S LICENSE AND HAVE NO CRIMINAL RECORD.
