Telecommunications Operator

Salary: $22.41–$27.02/hour.

Position Summary:

The Londonderry Fire Department is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable candidate for the parttime position of Telecommunications Operator. This role involves receiving and dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls, managing records, and providing essential support services to the department. It includes both clerical responsibilities and critical communications functions that directly support public safety

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of secretarial or business-related courses preferred
• Experience using computers and office equipment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Must pass a background check, medical exam, drug and alcohol screening, and other preemployment requirements
