Telecommunications Officer – Police
Salary:
- Telecommunications Officer I – $36,427.60
- Telecommunications Officer II – $37,338.30
- Master Telecommunications Officer – $39,205.22
Essential Functions:
- Performs radio and telephone communications including receiving and dispatching 911 calls for Police services.
- Position will be 12-hour shifts on a 2/2/3 rotation, after training is complete.
- Training will occur during both day and night shifts.
Requirements:
- Completion of high school.
- Completion of basic computer skills training.
- Prior dispatching experience desired.
- Starting pay will be within range, but actual salary depends on experience and education.
- This is considered sedentary work, requiring ability to speak, hear, keyboard, and lift up to 10 lbs.
- Must successfully complete D.C.I. certification training within 6 months of hire.
