Salary: $77,646.40 – $97,052.80 Annually

Essential Functions:

  • Responds to calls for service; handles citizen complaints, problem solving, making custodial arrests, and issuing summons
  • Knowledge of state law and local ordinance
  • Ability to drive and operate emergency vehicles
  • Ability to handle volatile persons, defend self and others, and testify
  • Investigates reports of crime, interview victims, suspects and others involved, collects evidence, packages cases for prosecution
  • Completes paperwork, reports and case management, and training
  • Patrols city streets, neighborhoods, businesses, parks, and conducts traffic enforcement and issues citations
  • Knowledge of city geography
