  • Certified rate: $25.25/hour.
  • Non-certified (or part-time certified) rate: $22.73/hour.

Position Summary:

Police Officers report to the shift Sergeant and are responsible for the day-to-day law enforcement, community policing and security service delivery for the assigned shift. Officers are often tasked with solving complex community problems or conducting all aspects of investigations.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Maine Criminal Justice Academy certified part-time law enforcement officer; full time certified or out of state waivers preferred.
  • Valid Class C Maine driver’s license.
  • At least one year of law enforcement or related experience.
