Police Officer

Salary: $45,863.71 – $94,944.38

Essential Functions:

• Perform duties under stressful conditions
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Serve the community and represent the City of Gardner in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid License to Carry (LTC)
• Valid driver’s license
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
• Must reside or be willing to relocate within 20 miles of Gardner city limits.

Preferred Requirements:

• Residents of Gardner
• Military veterans
• Candidates with MPTC full-time academy or equivalent certification
• Ability to achieve and maintain Massachusetts POST Certification
