Police Cadet

Salary: $21.00 Hourly

Position Summary:

This is a highly responsible position that involves networking with the community and the protection of life and property. This is accomplished through patrol work, criminal investigation, community policing, and enforcement of the laws of the State of Florida and the Ordinances of the City of Ocoee.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• United States Citizenship and at least 21 years of age.
• Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Preferred qualifications: Associate’s degree from an Accredited College or 60 equivalent semester hours, preferably in a Law Enforcement related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Military Experience
• Meet an area of under representation of the City of Ocoee
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish/Portuguese/Creole or ASL)
