Grant County is in the heart of the Columbia Basin in Central Washington State about 100 miles west of Spokane and 130 miles east of Seattle.

The Sheriff’s Office answers more than 16,000 calls for service per year. Our response area includes densely populated suburban, large agricultural farms, lakes and rivers, and remote wilderness.

Requirements

  • 21 Years of Age (there is no maximum age limit)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • No felony convictions or pattern of misdemeanors
  • No use of illegal drugs within the past 5 years
  • No use of marijuana within the past 1 year
  • Possess a WA State Drivers License
  • U.S. Citizen or Resident
