Enforcement Deputy Lateral

Columbia County is currently recruiting for the position of Lateral Enforcement Deputy in the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. Only applications from currently certified police officers will be considered.

This is a Civil Service position that is full time, 40 hours per week (plus overtime). Current Oregon DPSST Basic Police certification is required. The County will also accept equivalent certification from another state. Candidates must also have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a thorough background screening as well as pre-hire medical and psychological screening.

Salary 07/01/2020: $3,935 – $5,765 plus DPSST certification pay (2.5% for Intermediate; 5% for Advanced) – with very good benefits. Salary at hire will be offered based on prior experience.
