Enforcement Deputy-Lateral

Columbia County is currently recruiting for the position of Lateral Enforcement Deputy in the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.

This is a Civil Service position that is full time, 40 hours per week (plus overtime).
Oregon DPSST Basic Corrections certification is required that is current or lapsed due to a separation from a certified position for a period not to exceed one year.
The County will also accept equivalent certification under the same terms from another state.
Candidates must also have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a thorough background screening
as well as pre-hire medical and psychological screening.

Salary: $3,935 – $5,765 plus DPSST certification pay (2.5% for Intermediate; 5% for Advanced) – with very good benefits.
Additional incentive pay available for bilingual competency.
Salary at hire will be offered based on prior experience.
