What You Will Earn:

The anticipated starting hourly rate for this position is $38.03 (Step 1) -$41.13 (Step 3)/hour depending on experience. With a full future earning potential of $38.03 (Step 1) -$52.05 (Step 9)/hour ($79,102 – $108,264 annually). This position is a full-time 40 hours per week and eligible for full-time county BENEFITS PACKAGE.

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides leadership and supervision of employees and inmates by managing operations, personnel, services, and programs within the Cook County Jail. This position is responsible for providing efficient and effective operation of the County Jail, while meeting all safety, security, statutory, and constitutional requirements. Performs administrative duties for the Cook County 911 Emergency Communications Center. This person works on his/her own initiative and has broad latitude for the exercise of independent judgment.
