Deputy Probation Officer

Salary: $79,248.00 – $101,254.40 Annually

Position Summary:

Deputy Probation Officers act as change agents, balancing support, and accountability to perform probation casework, provide preventative and rehabilitative services to adult and juvenile clients that is trauma informed and supports family and community engagement in the field and institutional settings while determining a client’s risks, needs, and strengths in an effort to produce sustained reductions in recidivism.

Requirements:

1. Applicants must be 21 years of age by the time of appointment; AND,
2. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
3. Be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
4. Pass criminal and personal background investigation (felony convictions are disqualifying; misdemeanors may be disqualifying), truth verification examination, and psychological and medical evaluation which includes drug and alcohol screening.
